How long does it take for an insurance company to find out about a ticket?

Answer:

It depends on the procedures of your particular insurance company. Some companies check your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) more often than others. It depends a lot on your age, prior history, type of car, and employment.

Generally though, they will find out around policy renewal time (every 6 months to a year).
